More about this project
Oak Park began as housing built in 1941 for Camp Roberts personnel, and the Paso Robles Housing Authority took it over in 1953. By the 2010s the buildings were beyond repair, with tree roots in the plumbing and asbestos, so the Authority chose to rebuild. The first phase broke ground in February 2013, and the final phase, Oak Park 4, opened in 2020 with 75 apartments, a 4,172 SF resident center, sports courts, a tot lot and solar power. Oak Park 4 received the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce 2019 Beautification of the Year Award.
