About the project
This remodel fits a MoGo Urgent Care clinic into an existing space at the Carmel Rancho Shopping Center, at the corner of Carmel Rancho Boulevard and Carmel Valley Road. MoGo is a walk-in urgent care brand developed by the nonprofit Montage Health as a quicker, lower-cost alternative to the emergency room for minor illnesses and injuries. The clinics were planned with a relaxed, hospitality-style interior and a goal of seeing patients in about half an hour. Carmel was the last of the three original MoGo sites to open, serving Carmel, Carmel Valley and Big Sur.
