About the project
Seaside Family Health Center is a one-story clinic on Fremont Boulevard in Seaside, built just behind the older clinic it replaced. A plan to remodel the old building was set aside when costs proved too high, and a new building was pursued instead. The new facility holds 32 exam rooms, five rooms for patient education and group activities, a large waiting area with a children’s play area, and a dental suite. It is more than 70 percent larger than the former clinic, whose story began with a rented trailer in a Seaside parking lot after Fort Ord closed.
